Arsenal captain Kim Little has expressed her belief that the team is "on the right path" following their 5-1 victory over BK Häcken in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
Speaking to The Gooner Fanzine after the match, Little praised her team's "great start" to the season.
"We've had a really good pre-season and we've started the season well, so we're just looking to build on that now," she said.
"We know that there's still a lot of work to do, but we're heading in the right direction."
Little also spoke about the importance of the team's attacking play.
"We've got a lot of quality in the final third and we're creating a lot of chances," she said.
"We just need to be more clinical in front of goal and we'll start to see the results come."
Arsenal have made a strong start to the season, winning their first two matches in the Women's Super League and qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League.
Little will be hoping to lead her team to more success this season, as they look to challenge for the Women's Super League title and make a deep run in the Champions League.
