Barron Trump Graduates High School, Earns Standing Ovation at Ceremony
Former President's Youngest Son Embarks on New Chapter
Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has officially graduated from high school. The Associated Press and Agence France-Presse caught glimpses of the graduation ceremony on Friday, which saw Trump receive a standing ovation from the crowd.
Debut on the Political Stage?
Former President Trump hinted that the graduation ceremony may have been his son's debut on the political stage. In a speech at a rally in Doral, Fla., on Thursday, Trump called Barron to him from the stage. While Barron did not appear in the audience, his father's remarks raised speculation that he may be preparing for a future in politics.
Family Support
Barron's half-sister, Ivanka Trump, and his stepmother, Melania Trump, were both in attendance at the graduation ceremony. Ivanka Trump has stepped away from the political spotlight after serving as a senior advisor to her father during his presidency.
